Your carOther trafficScenes are schematic, not city maps.

Start with Guided. It explains each decision. Test hides the hints and saves your result after the route. Any unsafe choice means the route needs another attempt, even if your score is high.

This trains decisions, not steering or real-world gap judgment. Signs, police directions, and actual conditions take priority. Use the official manuals and get supervised practice if you need it.

Before you drive

Keep right. The driver normally sits on the left. After a turn, check that you are still on the right half of the road.

Right turns: a separate lane is not permission to go. Check its sign and signal, stop when required, and yield to pedestrians, cyclists, and traffic.

Left turns: distinguish a green arrow from a green circle or flashing yellow arrow. The latter can leave you crossing oncoming traffic. Keep the wheels straight while waiting.

New York here means NYC. Turns on red are prohibited unless a sign permits them. Other parts of New York State have different default rules.

Shared center lane: a lane marked for left turns in both directions is shared with opposing drivers. Use it to prepare for a nearby turn, not to pass a queue.

Speed: US signs use mph. 25 mph ≈ 40 km/h; 45 mph ≈ 72 km/h; 65 mph ≈ 105 km/h. The scene speeds are illustrative, not recommended turn speeds or local speed limits.

How this works: traffic advances in steps after your decisions. There is no time penalty. Action order is specific to each checkpoint. Restart clears the current attempt; completed test results stay saved. Passing here does not certify driving readiness.
